While the appearance is slightly different from the original equipment part, the Litens part maintains Ford/Mercury's original form, fit, and function specifications. For added durability, Litens has upgraded this tensioner to include a steel pulley .Note: Most other aftermarket tensioners for this application, have eliminated the O.E. specified internal damping feature which reduces torsional vibrations for a smoother, quieter running accessory system.
