AiM, or Automotive Importing Manufacturing, Inc., is a company specializing in the importation and distribution of alternators, starters, and their components for automotive, heavy-duty truck, and industrial applications. The company primarily serves remanufacturers in North America. AIM has been in business for over 40 years. In 2008, Motorcar Parts of America (MPA) acquired AIM's remanufacturing operations, including new and remanufactured alternators and starters. However, AIM continues to operate as a brand, selling components and finished units to rebuilders.
