Rust Buster was born in 1982 amidst the industrious landscape of Youngstown, Ohio, a region famously known as the Rust Belt. Our origins in this unique setting deeply influenced our mission. Initially, we made our mark by crafting fiberglass Ford & Jeep bodies and premium stainless steel automotive accessories. However, it wasn't long before we noticed a persistent challenge faced by vehicle owners in our community and beyond – combating the relentless onslaught of rust on their cherished trucks and Jeeps.
Driven by a passion for automotive preservation and an understanding of the longevity of modern vehicle drivetrains and interiors, we pivoted our focus. We recognized a glaring gap in the market: durable, affordable solutions for frame repairs, especially for vehicles enduring the rigors of harsh winter environments. This insight led us to develop a range of high-quality frame repair kits, tailored specifically for body-on-frame vehicles, helping owners extend the life and safety of their vehicles in a cost-effective manner.
